Super moisturizing tanning oil. I have fair skin, usually burn, I have been using it 3 weeks down south and I am tanned for the first time in my life. Smell is so pretty, it is natural not like the oils I am smelling around the pool, I feel good using it. Thanks so much and great job iherb again!
Great product, weird smell

I recently purchased this to replace Hask brand monoi oil I use for my hair as I read some great things in "natural hair" forums about this brand and product. This stuff is not as thick as what I'm used to, but provides really great definition and moisture to my thick, wavy, bleach damaged hair. It's quite warm and humid in Australia, and I find this absorbs really quickly as a body oil without leaving me with the typical greasy, slimy skin-feel and leaves the skin beautifully scented; a little does go a long way, so I'd apply it sparingly until you're used to the amount your skin requires depending on the season. It hardens during cool weather, but the plastic bottle allows you to squeeze the hardened product out to melt in your hands. I personally wouldn't microwave this as it appears to have a really low melting point anyway, and I'm not sure what heating in a microwave would do for the oil's or perfume's stability/shelf life. I also purchased the Tiare version and find both wear the same, but the Pitate has a bit of a rancid, chemical type smell to it so I wouldn't repurchase this version.

It is not the fragrance that I remember, I used it years ago when I lived in Hawaii, I think this is nothing close to the lightness, nor the scent that I love, I thought the name was also changed, the one I used was Pikaki, not pitate, never heard of that scent. Sorry won't buy this one again. I attempted to communicate this to herbs and they insist that I got what I ordered, but they have not researched their product, the discrepancy is in the brand name on the lable
