Histame is not discontinued
Histame is not discontinued
Happy to see this fantastic product is still available. Histame has changed their packaging from a box to this plastic container of 30 capsules. It took a bit of persistence to be able to consume foods without symptoms, possible because it took a while for the Histame enzymes to help process all the histamine and amines which had built up in my system over time. I take 2 capsules with high amine foods and it is important to take them no more than 15 minutes before the consumption of these foods and drinks. I also find that taking a capsule first thing in the morning without food can help me feel better. It is not just foods which can provoke a histamine or amine reaction. Thankyou iherb for stocking this product. It has improved my quality of life incredibly.
Helps create a buffer for people sensitive to biogenic aminoacids and high histamine foods

This was a life saver when I had food allergies. A product called N-A-G (n-acetyl-glucosamine) helped me reapir my leaky gut and since I have been well. However, I do have a tendency to react to foods, and a take this always with me as precaution or first aid.-
Life saver! Why was it discontinued???

I have suffer from severe histamine intolerance and have reactions to everything-even leftovers. Migraines, heart palps, shaky stomach, puffy eyes, hives. Taking 1-3 pills a day keeps all of it at bay and I even sleep better. Very upset that is has been discontinued on this site. It's out of stock everywhere and I am a bit concerned! There are many people that rely on this product and all the other DAO enzyme products out there are filled with toxic fillers and are ineffective. UPDATE-IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HISTAMINE INTOLERANCE Since this was discontinued, I had to find something else that would help and I did. Pancreatic enzymes. I have to take about 3-5 pills before each meal, but at $8/bottle for 90 pills, that isn't too expensive. In fact, probably less expensive than Histame and now Histame isn't even the same formula-no DAO (so useless.) Give PE's a try...I can eat whatever I want now with no issues. (I personally like Solaray's Pancreatin 1300 because they are additive free.)
Not the Same! No Daosin

Very upset that this would be advertised as the same product as it was before. This does not contain Daosin, therefore, it is worthless to me and anyone that has a real problem with HIT. Why is this product being sold as Histame? It is junk. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with a product from iherb
This is not the same product

This is not the same product as before. It contains totally different elements that the one before that contained just DAOsin the enzyme that actually breaks down histamine. I wonder why iherb has listed it as being the same product
Changed the forumla

So big warning.. Histame used to contain DAO enzymes which help break down Histamine foods. This now has a whole ton of supplements that are supposed to help but it does NOT work nearly as well.
