Creatine may be especially useful for those doing short-term, intense exercise, such as weight lifting, football, basketball, swimming, skiing or cycling.
NOW Micronized Creatine Monohydrate Powder has many advantages over regular creatine monohydrate powder. The smaller particle size means more surface area, allowing for better mixing and faster absorption in the body.
Creatine Monohydrate is a naturally occurring compound found in the human body and obtained in the diet primarily from meat and fish. Creatine is a popular supplement among active individuals because of its ability to serve as an energy reservoir, especially during intense physical exertion. During short, intense bursts of activity, the body breaks down adenosine triphosphate (ATP) into adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and phosphate for energy. Creatine helps the body convert ADP back to ATP, providing greater amounts of ATP for energy, which may increase short-term endurance and strength. Creatine can also be stored for later use by cells, creating the "energy reservoir" active individuals desire.
NOW creatine monohydrate is 100% pure and contains no additives or preservatives.
As a dietary supplement, mix 1 level tablespoon in fruit juice or other sweetened liquid 3 to 4 times daily, before and after exercise, for the first 7 days. Thereafter, for maintenance use, consume 1 to 3 times daily. Allow 3 to 4 hours between doses. For continuous use beyond 28 days, use one serving daily. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW Pyruvate, D-Ribose and Carbo Gain.
Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.
Caution: Consult a physician if you have impaired kidney function or are taking any prescription medications that affect kidney function.

NO SCOOP PROVIDED

1 star deducted as no scoop was provided. I contacted iHerb staff and was promised an email reply regarding the scoop but was never given one so this was a negative experience toward iHerb's customer service. Otherwise the creatine mixes extremely well. There's no taste in water so it's 100% palatable. Not sure if it's placebo effect or if it's my increased exercise intensity, but I do feel more alert and sharp when taking the creatine... Creatine is a good product, naturally occuring and renally excreted without much secretion or reabsorption. Get this but bear in mind it doesn't come with a scoop.
Good for the price.

I'm no expert on Creatine, but this one seems to work well.

By far the greatest Monohydrate. A+++

Pure creatine is flavorless. I have tried other brands and this one has a bad, impure taste. I eat my creatine by the tablespoon so I will not be re-purchasing. The only good thing I have to say about this product is the wide mouth top makes it easy to get my spoon inside.
Cheap and Bulk Creatine HCL. Makes me feel sick though.

This is one of the cheapest brands i found for creatine powder. And it fine. However this makes me feel sick after taking it. Can't really blame it on the brand though as this is the first time i've tried creatine HCL, may my body just don't like it that much. It doesn't have any taste to it. Mix-ability isn't perfect by not a big issue. I take this together with Creatine HCL (from NOW foods).
