Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two New York street vendors. In 1992, fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional African recipes with organic and fair trade ingredients. Today Nubian Heritage offers hundreds of culturally authentic natural products inspired by global ancient healing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made in bath tubs, little else has changed; the company still makes its own products, still uses fair trade and organic ingredients and still invests in community commerce.
Historical references to Shea Butter, a staple of African pharmacology, date back to the reported Shea Butter caravans of Cleopatra's Egypt, Shea Butter is rich in essential fatty acids, which moisturize and soften skin. Frankincense, known for its toning and Frankincense, known for its toning and anti-aging properties, also has aromatherapy benefits. Myrrh dates back to an Ebers papyrus (circa 1580) recipe for a facial mask.

My favourite body wash of all time. First, it smells like honey- even better than that. I cant even put it into words how much I like the smell once I hit into the shower. It makes my skin very soft, considering I have eczema. The staying power of the scent does not last that long though- especially since i lather on other lotions. It might last longer for others though.
Smell good & moisturizing

At first, i did not like the smell, but after using for a few times, i find it relaxing and moisturizing. I have tried more than 7 types of Nubian heritage body wash, and this is the most moisturizing one.

Leaves my skin feeling so soft that I don't bother with moisturiser. Love it!

Hmmm.... not bad, but not great either. Fragrance is a bit of a nonentity, nothing to write home about. Texture is smooth, but doesn't leave my skin feeling as soft as the Coconut version. Disappointing.

Bought this in combination with the other one (black soap type), and absolutely love it. So does my husband. Leaves a nice lingering scent of white musk.
not exactly the same as what i received

I received this body wash with different packing and different ingredients, they should update the information if they have these changes. Very disappointed for buying something that isn't what I expected.
