creamy lather, rinses clean!

I love this soap. It still amazes me that it's so affordable. The Hemp soap actually smells mildly of peppermint, and due to the hemp oil, the lather is so creamy. This bar is my favorite so far. I've tried about 6 of them, and didn't really care for the fragrance of the Shea butter bar unfortunately. These bars are so moisturizing, yet rinse totally clean, and my skin itches so much less since I've begun using them. A word of caution: Keep the soap in a dry, well-drained place (out of the stream from the shower head)!! If you have sensitive skin, you will love this soap!

This is my husband's favorite soap. He asks me to buy it again and again.
A big disapointment...

I practically bought the entire collection from "One With Nature" and tried them all. Most of them are just Ok. not great or anything as they seem to dry out my skin for some weird reason (and I have an oily skin!). However this specific bar soap was absolutely a disapointment. It barely soaps and you have to put in some efforts to get a decent foam. The smell is there alright but very lightly and doesn't linger on your body. I would definitely consider other brands alternative who are much much better (South Of France, [read my other reviews to see the others])...

this brand makes good soaps in general. just wish they didn't stinge on the peppermint. an okay soap could have been a great soap.
great soap, but something has changed...

My original review is below, but since using this soap again I think either the product or my tolerance to minty things has changed. The bar I most recently opened still has a great lather, is gentle and excellent for shaving and isn't too drying - but it's barely peppermint at all. It has a light, pleasant herbal aroma that does have a hint of peppermint in it. But I no longer feel the cooling sensation on my skin or the clearing of my sinuses I used to with this bar. It's still very nice, and probably more suited to more sensitive skin now, but not as I described below. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) I love One With Nature's bar soap, and use them almost exclusively for body cleansing. This, as well as the others I have tried, produces a rich and creamy lather and is non-drying. The large bar lasts a LONG time, so it's a great value. The dead sea salt also seems to really help balance my skin's pH, so body odor and body acne are kept at bay. Most of the year, I stick with their unscented sea salt variety, but I love the peppermint for summer and keep it on hand year round for any time I need an extra pick-me-up in the shower or for when I am feeling congested. I would warn that it is VERY minty, so those with sensitive skin may wish to try a different One With Nature bar, or at least exercise caution.
THE reason to buy fancy soaps at iHerb instead of going to local store

PROS: smells _fantastic_, does it's job very well, great value, lasts a lifetime - around 18-20 full body washes, lathers well. CONS: dries skin a just little bit, vulnerable to moisture. Verdict: You oughta try it!
