RADIUS, Intelligent Toothbrush, Medium, 3 Replacement Heads (Discontinued Item)
Can dramatically improve your dental health by ensuring that you brush for two minutes and by telling you to change the bristles every 90 days. Dentists say that these actions are the most important ingredients in a good oral care regimen.
When to Replace Worn Bristles
The Intelligent Toothbrush will beep and flash with a green light for the first 180 uses. After 180 uses - the green light will turn red indicating time to change the head. Dentists recommend changing bristles every 90 days with twice a day brushing.
Replacing the Head
Pull shaft of the head away from the handle with a sharp tug - head will detach. Decide on using left or right handed - see instructions for orientation below. Place connector of new head into socket at top of handle and push until you feel a positive click and the head is fully seated. Replace at 90 days.
Reset the Wear Meter
After inserting new replacement head - depress the timer button for 5 seconds or more - the red light will change back to green and restart the wear meter at zero.
Bristles radiate out from the head - giving a substantial bristle tip area for a small head size, makes brushing teeth and gums easier and more effective.
To Orientate the head correctly, face the hand symbol at the top of the handle that corresponds to your personal hand (right or left) as if that hand's palm is facing you - insert the head such that the bristles are facing you.
Thin DuPont Tynex nylon bristles let you comfortably remove plaque and massage gums.
Use of the Intelligent Toothbrush
Do not immerse underwater, place in a dishwasher, microwave or oven. Not a toy, this toothbrush is not recommended for small children.
