Kelp Noodles are a sea vegetable in the form of an easy to eat noodle. Made of only kelp (a sea vegetable), sodium alginate (sodium salt extract from a brown seaweed), and water, Kelp Noodles are fat-free, gluten-free and very low in carbohydrates and calories. Their noodle form and neutral taste allow for a variety of uses including salads, stir-fries, hot broths, and casseroles while their healthful content provides a rich source of trace minerals including iodine, which kelp is well-known for. Their unique texture completes the package, making Kelp Noodles a one-of-a-kind healthful and tasty alternative to pasta and rice noodles. Best of all, no cooking is required. Just rinse and add the noodles to any dish and they are ready to eat!

I've been using Kelp noodles for a while since I've turned to a raw food diet. I make raw Pad Thai and Pesto mainly and I'm happy with this product. I couldn't have it too often though because I used to pay up to AUD$10.50 per pack in Australia! Thanks iHerb for the great price. Tip: you need to wash and rinse them when you get them out of the pack. Then soak them in water with lemon juice and some tamari/nama shoyu or Braggs liquid aminos for approx 3 hours to soften them, or else they are too crunchy and nothing like a noodle. You can then rinse them if you like, to get rid of those flavours if they don't go with your dish. The people who don't like them just don't know how to prepare them, because they taste exactly like any other noodles when prepared as above. They should really have instructions on the packet!
Crunchy or not

These noodles are great for people who are looking to replace their typical noodle dish. Depending on how you cook them: either message or stir fry, will change the texture of the noodle. I like them both ways, kinda just depends on the day. Will continue to buy.
Love this brand

i do not recommend this. Kelp is not for noodles unless very fresh... All other stuff I've purchased on iHerb I'm very happy with, but this no! If you want kelp buy iHerbs Now Foods, Kelp, Green Superfood, 250 Veg Caps- or; Nature's Way, Kelp, 600 mg, 180 Capsules

Fancy eating an amazing noodle that helps to pull toxins out of the body? Kelp noodles do just that! This food is useful in all noodle dishes and a handful served at the bottom of your bowl and topped with hot soup is delicious!
Cant bear with the plastic texture

Ive read the review before buying this product. Sadly even when I soaked the noodles overnight, with vinegar, the texture was still so weird that I decided to throw away...
