Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Excellent organic rooibos tea.
Excellent organic rooibos tea.
Luxurious red tea with a delicious cinnamon aroma. Not only is it naturally caffeine free and has no known side effects and contraindications, but also it's packed with health benefits. Rich in vitamins C, K, E, A, B vitamins (folic acid, pantothenic acid, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6), manganese, magnesium, copper, iron, pota ssium, phosphorus, calcium, different amino acids, tannins, antioxidants, flavonoids, it's beneficial for people suffering from morning sickness, nausea, cardiovascular conditions, anemia, hypertension, headache, gluten intolerance and celiac disease, diabetes, leg cramps, arthritis, rheumatism, water retention, gallstones and gallbladder disease, IBS, asthma, colds, flues, asthma, gingivitis, canker sores and gum disease, acne, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, and even cancer. Rooibos tea flushes toxins out of the body, aids digestion, prevents heartburn and acid reflux, relieves nausea and bloating, increases appetite, heals gastric ulcers, soothes the stomach lining, reduces colon inflammation, facilitates healing, boosts the immune system, helps stabilize blood sugar and regulate insulin levels, prevents blood spikes keeping you full longer, normalizes blood pressure, lowers triglycerides and LDL or "bad" cholesterol levels while increasing HDL or "good" cholesterol, protects against strokes, atherosclerosis and peripheral arterial disease, helps maintain healthy bones and teeth, soothes and heals dry and damaged skin, and even reduces the risk of cancer. It's also a wonderful natural sleep aid and stress reliever, helping you calm down, fall asleep faster and get a good night’s rest. A used tea bag can be applied topically to heal wounds, scars, bruises, cuts, burns, rashes and acne-affected areas of your skin. A rooibos mask or scrub improves the complexion, brightens and evens out skin tone, reduces redness, spots, blotchiness and small lines, helps break down old scar tissue and prevent premature aging. It's truly a wonderful tea and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their overall health and well-being.
Not the best, but pretty good

This has a nice flavor, not the very best, but pretty good. However, I find I have to use about 50% more of this tea to make the same strength as some other brands. It's cheap enough that this doesn't matter much. Rooibos can be a reasonable caffeine-free substitute for real tea (Camellia sinensis), but it lacks astringency. It's flavor is most similar to a mild oolong, with notes of fruit and honey. Rooibos requires a very fine mesh tea ball or a tea bag because the pieces are smaller than true tea. I drink at least one cup of rooibos every night to help me sleep. It’s good plain, or with milk and honey. I've tried several brands/sources of rooibos. The best one that I've bought from iherb is actually the bagged Numi brand, but that is much more expensive per cup. If you have never had rooibos, I suggest you try the Numi first. Then give the loose leaf a try. If I find something better from iherb, I'll update accordingly. Tl;dr: This is a good, reasonably priced choice as long as you increase the amount of tea per cup. Hope this helps!
Great tasting tea

Having cut out all caffeine from my diet, this is a great tasting tea with no caffeine at all. The best thing is that its leaf tea and not teabags. I'm a bit of a traditionalist and still use a teapot..plus I try not to use teabags for three reasons 1. Cost: tea bag tea is more expensive, ( average 100 gm box of teabags $7.00 = $70/kg compared to loose leaf at aprox. $35/kg 2. Teabags are an additional waste product. Why go to the expense of manufacturing all those little bags to end up in landfill. 3. Teabags contain plastic and are usually bleached....not good health wise. All in all a great tasting and very refreshing cuppa

Odličan čaj. Ne oseća se aroma cimeta. Isporuka je veoma brza, do Srbije za samo 17 dana. Bravo za iherb. Excellent tea. I do not feel the aroma of cinnamon. Delivery is very fast, to Serbia for only 17 days. Bravo for iherb.
