Even though this conditioner is biodegradable, free of sulfates, parabens, petroleum, phthalates, PEGs, EDTA, silicon, phenoxyethanol, never tested on animals, and contains some safe ingredients, such as organic aloe vera leaf juice and rosemary and sage oils, it contains non-organic soybean oil, ascorbic acid, tocopheryl acetate, tocopherol, beta-carotene, alcohol, alcohol denat. and cetyl alcohol. Non-organic soybean oil is most likely to be genetically modified. Over 90% of soy oil in the USA, as well as elsewhere in the world, is genetically modified to survive being doused with otherwise lethal amounts of herbicides and pesticides. GMOs are dangerous endocrine disruptors, developmental, reproductive and neurotoxicants, and carcinogens. Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E acetate), tocopherol, beta-carotene (provitamin A), ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and wheat germ oil are most likely to be genetically modified, as well. Most of them on the market, especially in beauty products, are GMOs. And there's no guarantee that all the other non-organic ingredients in this conditioner are non-GMOs. Alcohol, alcohol denat. and cetyl alcohol are human toxicants, skin irritants and allergens. This balancing conditioner is definitely not a product I would consider using.

This did nothing for my hair, and smelled TERRIBLE! I mean, if you need a cheap conditioner which won't do anything for your hair anyways - go buy it. But if you care about the smell it leaves the hair..well..then this is the worst buy you ever can do. Smells like strong flowers and herbs, alcohol and..just something I can't describe. Terrible.

Smells like grass, not very pleasant. That's why I don't like most of Aubrey hair products. Didn't see much results.

Worked wonders on my dry damaged hair, so I came back for the full size bottle!
