I was aware of the smell, but when I received it and opened, I understood it's not the smell of bad or outdated product - it's just the natural smell of sunflower oil, which is in it's contents! After 15 minutes oil is absorbed and I even felt a little fragrance or orange oil. And this hand salve really moisturizes well. After all, I liked it.

I bought one of these to try since they were on sale. The salve has orange oil in it, but not enough to smell. It an almost gel like consistency and was absorbed into my skin very quickly. I have super sensitive skin and any emulsified lotion tends to irritate more than it soothes no matter how high quality or limited the ingredients are. So I highly recommend this for folks similarly afflicted with sensitive skin. I like it a lot, but it is very similar to the salve I make myself from beeswax, sunflower oil and vitamin e oil so I will probably continue making my own after this is gone.

I didn't care for the smell at first but i keep essential oils on hand so i just added some lemon & manderin oil drops. It took care of the problem. Just ordered 2 more jars so i can keep one in kitchen, nightstand & one in my purse. You cannot beat this sale price of .90 cents!

i like this cream, but the smell is really littlebit unpleasant.

For the sale price of 0,90 - good. But I would not buy it for a higher price.. Smells like old sunflower oil, texture is very oily. I use it on my feet with socks on them overnight.
