Your prime objective for consuming Omega 3 should be to get DHA into your body. The scientific evidence supporting the benefits of DHA is now overwhelming. It is much more important than EPA which is the major Omega 3 component of most fish oils. The explanation as to why DHA is the most important substance, is somewhat technical and not possible to explain here. However, if you would like to read a straightforward scientific paper on it, I would suggest that you review a paper by Lloyd A. Horrocks and Young K. Yeo. This is calamari oil, not fish oil. Compared with regular fish oil, this calamari oil delivers an unheard of 85% more DHA omega-3s to your heart, brain, joints, and eyes! You can get more than 8X the benefits of a fish oil without the burps and after taste. With this Max DHA, you can say goodbye to (1) Fatigue, (2) Heart trouble, (3) Poor memory, (4) Vision Problems, (5) Dry or itchy skin, (6) Joint pain, (7) Lack of endurance, (8) Poor circulation, (9) Mood swings or depression. Pregnant women and nursing mothers please take Max DHA for your babies' development. The diet of the mother reflects the amount of DHA available to be passed on to the baby. If the mother is low in DHA, there will be little to pass along to the child. If the baby is not breast fed at all, it receives no DHA in the critical developmental period following birth. Since DHA is passed through the placenta to the fetus during pregnancy and to the nursing baby from breast milk, optimal levels of DHA are necessary in the bloodstreams of pregnant women and in the breast milk of nursing mothers. An extraordinary longitudinal study conducted by a research team led by Professor Jake Najman at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia concluded that the presence of DHA in breast milk explains why breast fed babies have a cognitive advantage over babies fed with infant formula containing no DHA. The study found that the breast fed children demonstrated an 8 point intellectual advantage when they were administered standard IQ tests.

Good brand

Omega 3's being the most important oil we don't get a lot of in our diet, this fits the bill for us. According to reports I've read, there is an ample supply of deep water Calamari squid. Many fish species are on the decline so this is more eco-friendly and high quality, as well.
