best formula of any multivitamin I've seen; but must supplement with vitamin d3
Posted by Reviewer3031103 on Sep 10, 2009
This formula is low-calcium, which is great because calcium blocks absorption of many nutrients. But the vitamin D in it, d2, is useless. Supplement with 5000 iu of d3 if you want to avoid the flu this winter.
Country Life, Maxine Multiple for Women Gentle Strength, Iron Free

LOVE IT! Doesn't upset my stomach as so very many other vitamin/mineral products do! Also, love that it's iron-free as I am unable to take iron supplements when I take my thyroid hormone (iron blocks the uptake of prescription thyroid supplementation).

I was golad to find a vitamin that agrees with me. One that didn't have iron but would give me the supplements I needed. Plus, these are very easy to swallow, which I greatly appreciate.
