Average. I myself like a rougher texture so I can really feel the file exfoliating, but for the price and size its great to have handy.

For non-problem foot. I do not like it since I need good exfoliation but this one is very very weak(( I do not consider it to be of a high quality.. Had to buy another one in the drug store just after tried this one...
