Excellent taste and fragrance with no added preservatives or sugars.

Appreciate that this traditional koji brewed rice cooking wine has no added sugar or synthetic enzyme. Shoyu soy sauce and Mirin are the right and left hands of Japanese cuisine. A few shakes in dashi broth, soups, sauces, stir fries, dips, and dressings is ambrosial. A glaze for baked and grilled foods!

Satisfied. 'Just' four stars because I have already had a mirin of better taste.

Love the mostly natural ingredients, no sulphites added like in some white cooking wines. Great for slow stews, both asian and western. A tad expensive tho.
