Boil one tablespoon per 16 oz water for 10 min. Drink tea throughout the day or evening. This is extremely good for depleted adrenals and nervous system exhaustion. Also calms an overactive HPA axis. Extremely high in organic silica. Makes a great tasting tea.

These cut and sifted oatstraw green tops are organic, non-irradiated, and perfect for making soothing and healing oatstraw tea. What makes oatstraw tea truly unique is that it does wonders for people suffering from gastrointestinal diseases and conditions and is one of the very few herbal teas that have no known side effects or contraindications. Rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, tannins, antioxidants, flavonoids, oatstraw tea is full of health benefits and great for treating acid reflux, gastritis, stomach and duodenal ulcers, IBS, colitis, diverticulitis, gastrointestinal inflammation, diarrhea, constipation, gallstones and gallbladder disease, lower urinary tract and kidney disorders, liver disease, respiratory tract infections, colds, flu, fever, coughs, sore throat, joint pain, arthritis, gout, rheumatism, osteoporosis, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, eye ailments, frostbite, gout, gingivitis, canker sores and gum disease, acne, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, chickenpox, impetigo, stress, depression, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, as well as many other conditions. Oatstraw contains mucilaginous compounds and forms a protective layer on the lining of the digestive tract, aids digestion, prevents heartburn and acid reflux, relieves nausea and bloating, heals gastric and intestinal ulcers, soothes the stomach lining, reduces colon inflammation, facilitates healing, relieves pain, swelling and inflammation of the mucous membranes, soothes and heals dry and damaged skin, boosts and strenghthens the immune system, helps maintain healthy bones, joints, teeth, and nails, relieves menstrual cramps, lowers triglycerides and LDL or "bad" cholesterol levels while increasing HDL or "good" cholesterol, normalizes blood pressure, helps stabilize blood sugar and regulate insulin levels, protects against strokes, atherosclerosis and peripheral arterial disease, aids sleep, relieves the symptoms of stress and anxiety, and even reduces the risk of cancer. Oatstraw can also be applied topically to reduce skin irritation and inflammation, heal wounds, abscesses, sores, insect bites, scars, bruises, cuts, boils, burns, rashes. An oatstraw mask or scrub improves the complexion, brightens and evens out skin tone, reduces redness, spots, blotchiness and small lines, helps break down old scar tissue and prevent premature aging. This amazing product actually does relieve the symptoms of my acid reflux and gastritis and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from gastrointestinal or respiratory tract diseases and conditions, as well as those who just want to improve their overall health and well-being.
