This is the pack of unroasted sesame seeds that are still edible as they are, but once they are roasted, the taste becomes much, much better.

Frontier sources the best and they are a co-op so that insures that the farmers and cultivators are getting paid and we are getting a fair price too.

Undoubtedly the best I've tried. If you want to enhance your enjoyment, put 2 or 3 tablespoons into a small fine mesh strainer. Gently rinse them under a little water. Tap the strainer against a paper towel to remove excess water so seeds are just damp. Empty the seeds into a small dry skillet. Place skillet over very low heat and gently shake it back and forth until all of the water has evaporated and a few of the seeds begin to pop. It takes very little time. Remove them to a bowl and let them cool completely. Then grind them to your preferred consistency. I have a small electric coffee grinder that I use only for seeds, though I think it's best to use a mortar. This toasting method really brings out the rich flavor and grinding releases an aroma that will whet your appetite. Sprinkle them over everything!

This was a Paula Deen receipe which called for 2 1/2 cups of sesame seeds. Your product worked wonderfully and was cost effective. Shipping was prompt as well.
