I hadn't paid attention that these have pits when I ordered. Nevertheless they taste better than any green olives I've ever tried. I typically get black olives as I don't care for green but these are really good. I can tell they were picked when ripe yet they are still firm. Perfect! Also they don't have that tangy vinegar kick, no lemon taste that I could detect either, but the olives are good enough that they stand on their own. It's a rather small jar but the olives are huge and just a few are very satisfying. A great purchase!
