Definitely 5 stars because this milk thistle seems to prevent pain down the road that is associated with gallbladder removal. Pain was frequent before I began taking this every night after dinner. It seems to prevent bile duct inflamation and stone formation because of the cholestrol break down.....not sure but this seems to be my experience.

Wonderful for the Liver!

The entire plant has liver protecting properties, and the seeds have the strongest effects on the liver. Milk thistle seed contains silymarin, a compound shown to protect the liver and to accelerate the regeneration of liver cells. As an antioxidant milk thistle can help reduce oxidative damage to the liver.
