Great foaming hand soap, but one star off for sodium benzoate.

Unlike many other hand soaps, this one is free of sulfates, parabens, petroleum, phthalates, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, SLS, PEG, artificial colors or synthetic fragrances, and contains a lof of great ingredients: decyl glucoside and lauryl glucoside gently cleanse sensitive skin, exfoliate dead skin cells, draw out excess dirt and impurities without stripping the skin's protective layer; glycerin, shea butter, and bitter almond kernel oil deeply moisturize, nourish, and soften the skin, improving moisture retention and preventing dryness and dehydration; panthenol, naturally occurring allantoin, and a powerful blend of oat kernel, bitter almond, witch hazel, dog rose, green tea, aloe vera, and honeysuckle extracts soothe, tone, soften, and heal delicate skin, calm itching, reduce redness and inflammation, stimulate cell renewal and collagen production, firm, revitalize and rejuvenate mature skin, restoring its elasticity and preventing premature aging; carrageenan is a natural thickener made from seaweed; glucose is a harmless humectant and skin conditioning agent; gluconolactone is a safe humectant and solvent. The only downside of this product is that it contains sodium benzoate as a preservative. Even though sodium benzoate is not some dangerous carcinogen, but it's a suspected human toxicant, skin irritant, and allergen. Overall, this foaming hand soap is pretty impressive: it lathers and rinses well, gently cleanses my very dry and sensitive hands without dehydrating or irritating them, makes them soft, smooth, and hydrated, doesn't leave a greasy film or clog pores, and would be just perfect, if it wasn't for sodium benzoate.

I like it, but although it's said to be shea butter and oatmeal soap, the most dominant smell is almond.

Foaming Hand Soap

I'd never tried a foaming soap before (unlike regular hand soap), so I have nothing to compare it with, but I was not completely satisfied. You have to be careful to spread the soap on your hands before you add water to prevent the soap from being washed off too quickly.
