Taste-wise, it's a little "green". Doesn't taste berry-like but I haven't eaten a fresh acai berry before so maybe that's the way it is. Not crazy about the taste but it's edible. A little honey improves it. This product has very poor solubility; it's really grainy as what other reviewers have mentioned. I tried putting it through a shaker, used warm water, stirred like crazy, doesn't help. I don't have a blender on hand, so didn't try that. The final verdict is: if you are particular about taste & texture, forget about this product else hide this in yoghurt or blend it in a smoothie. I don't think it will dissolve in juice either and having sandy bits in a drink is a turnoff.

Dont recommend adding to a peanut butter sandwich... That was a mistake on my part. Great in my smoothie

I use this in my smoothie every day, and this is the best price I've seen for a pure Acai product. I have occationally discovered a few "balls" of powder due to a little humidity in the bag, but they break down easily with a pinch of the spoon so no worries.

I feel fortunate to have found Simply Acai after trying many powdered formulas. I have not been using it very long but the difference was remarkable from the first day. Energy, wow - can't praise it enough. One thing I do that I haven't seen mentioned is eating it directly off the spoon when I'm in a rush. It doesn't taste awful but it's not sweet. It is a plus that it is 100% organic and I like the small size serving scoop. A lot of power in that little scoop. I have combined it with Midori Greens with excellent results. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning so I can begin another exciting day with this helpful product.
