They are not that salty. I like the fact that they are low temperature dried. But I have tried more delicious kelp.

I just put a chunk in bean soups to help eliminate any gaseous side effects. Seems to work.

This ocean vegetable was much more salty than I envisioned. It loses it's saltiness when soaked in water, but it's my least favorite of the ocean veggies.
Good for soups. Good tips on back side of packet.

saltier than other kombu I have tried. always a decent choice
