This product contains the patented formula "FloraGlo". Kemin who produces it has had clinical trails on efficacy in regards to skin. I have an auto immune skin disease and I use it (in a higher dosage)to keep my skin from bleeding. I contacted the company to assure my dosage was safe. Been using it for two years with great success.
