STEVIA must be one of the world's most un-recognized Sweeteners and one often wonders why. It is a Certified purely Natural Organic product, contains no Aspartame, no Sacharine, has no bitter after taste and the powder concentrate is 200 to 300 times as sweet as sugar. Price-wise, if you compare a teaspoon of sugar with a small scoop (Incuded in a 100 mg Tube) of Stevia powdwer bought from "NOW", there's not much in it either. The reason why not more people (Especially Diabetics) are using it, may lie in the fact that most people who are inquiring about it, go to a Chemist or Health Shop and get put off by the cost. As this Product gains popularity, the cost will come down, but it will need some Marketing Giant to advertize it.

We use this wherever we used to use sugar. It works great and doesn't seem to have the aftertaste that I have seen with other stevia products. Getting the 1 pound size keeps us from having to order multiples of the small ones and is less costly.
