I recently switched from fish oil to this algae-based DHA due to some concerns over the quality and sustainability practices of major fish oil companies. I have been taking 3 capsules (600mg of DHA) for a few weeks. So far it seems like this product is working similarly to the fish oil. I do have a few concerns with this product. One concern is that there is no EPA, so I will try to get that from another source. Another concern is the price, which is quite a bit higher than with fish oil supplements. I will continue to give this product a try and re-evaluate whether to purchase again. Overall, I think if you are a vegan or vegetarian and are interested in getting DHA from an algae source, this is one of the cheaper products on the market and certainly worth a try.
