I use ascorbic acid as an acidic additive to help my Kefir stay active. This powder dissolves easily, even adding it after I've put my protein powder thickener into the mixture. It also adds a bit of a tangy zippy flavor to the kefir.

Top-notch quality. One teaspoon daily is equivalent to what an equal size animal produces on their own. See Irwin Stone's book online. Google Irwin Stone.

Immune system had become not as good as it should have been. Started on this and it improved in just a few days. Much better than some purchased from a local store which contained additives.

Excellent quality and value. It's wonderful to find pure products without additives. Using this to make my own cosmetic natural vit C serum.
Cheapest on the market

We were using Douglas Laboratories crystals at about $16 but the Now ascorbic acid powder is much cheaper, esp at iHerb.
It's the one product that's the same no matter where you buy it so just look for a good company and cheapest prices.
