I think carbonhydrates and gluten aren't good.

This book is poorly written, difficult to find information in and has very little specific advice except to buy the doctor's own brand of supplements... though very little information as to WHY they would be better than the standard recommendations. The advice in this book is worth exactly what I paid for it: nothing. An independent online search is a better use of your time.

All the advice in this booklet is based on the theory that cholesterol causes heart disease, which has totally been debunked. Cholesterol levels have been measured in all kinds of varied populations, and there is no discernible correlation to high cholesterol levels and heart disease. However, there is a correlation of high triglycerides and heart disease. The science of glucose metabolism has shown that high triglycerides are not caused by a high fat diet, but by a high level of refined carbohydrates and sugar in the diet. For more information, you may want to read Gary Taubes scientifically researched book regarding this, "Good Calories, Bad Calories". Very disappointed that this booklet would continue to espouse the old conventional wisdom which had been thoroughly disproven.

I don't believe this is the best information out there. Do some more research yourself after reading this booklet to decide for yourself. This was a free sample and I am thankful I didn't pay for it.
