Flax seeds are truly a superfood. They're one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic fatty acid famous for fighting inflammation, relieving pain, boosting metabolism and facilitating fat burning, and the best source of lignans known for protecting against colon, breast and prostate cancer by blocking enzymes that are involved in hormone metabolism and interfering with the growth and spread of tumor cells. No doubt body likes this product for Omega 3. I blend with a group of whole foods for a "green" drink each morning. Especially noticed is the healthy looking hair.

I grind these up in a small grinder and put in my protein shakes. Great fiber and has made a real difference with my bowel problems. Also great source of antioxidants & omega 3 fatty acids. I've read that buying whole seed and grinding up and adding to foods gives the best nutrition from flaxseed.

I grind up the seeds fresh with our coffee grinder, putting them in salads, hot cereal etc. There is no obvious taste. We appreciate the extra fiber added to our diet.

I do not like the taste. I like sealable packaging. I will not repurchase it.
