The ingredient fruit pectin is a dietary fiber supplement that is often used to maintain powerful digestive health. My family loves these preserves. I don't buy any other brand. iherb.com has the best price and selection available anywhere. The quality is the best and the flavor is real, no sickly sweet sugar or corn syrup junk used. A little goes a long way.
