The title says "aminos" but it's not real amino acids. It's just plain protein compressed into the form of a tablet. Real aminos, in my understanding, are free-form aminos and di- and tri-peptides. So, the name is misleading. However, if you need "compressed protein" and nothing more, it's good enough. Please note that tablets are very hard and you probably won't be able to chew them. You'll have to swallow them, but they are kind of big and have sharp edges.

I've been using Universal Nutrition, 100% Beef Aminos for a month 'n' half now. Either my training methods have drastically improved or this product actually works. I usually take 1x3 tabs between lunch and dinner, 1x3 ½h before gym and 1x3 1h after gym. So for me this seems to be working.
Universal beef amino.
