Makes good kefir

This makes very smooth kefir. I use one packet in 2 liters of fresh raw milk. I love it plain, but also use it sometimes in the morning smoothies, and the kids live it. Since I can't seem to get the kefir grains here in Ecuador, this is the next best thing.

After moving to Korea I miss some of the foods that I am used to, especially diary. This kefir starter tastes really great and easy to make: just add it to milk and leave outside fridge for 24 hours. Simple, delicious and good for health!

Finally my family can have hand-made kefir! Much easier then with yogurt starter. My husband and 2-years old daughter eat it as well! Can be done with ultra pasteurized milk!

Very nice. It can be a bit thick, so you may want to use a little more milk than suggested.
