I use this when I bake whole wheat bread. With added gluten the bread rises well.

Hard to find Product

I use vital wheat gluten for only one thing, a wheat bread recipe for my bread making machine. I couldn't find it at any local store, so got on the internet. iHerb offers the best price and shipping rates hands down. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else!

This is great! I really miss bread, so I use it to make low-carb rolls (from Low Carb Comfort food by Mary Dan Eades).

Great product for creative bakers

If you want to try out different bread baking styles, with or without recipes, this is your secret ingredient for success. I have used it for low-carb baking with success. I recommend transferring the product to an airtight container, though. Even when the flour is protected by plastic bag inside that cardboard box, you might find the product going stale before it's fully used.
