The clear bulb gives off a harsh light. I'll order the frosted next time.

While the bulb is nice and does what it says these bulbs like many others do not put out the amount of light a regular 60watt bulb does.

this is great i have read a few reviews online saying that there is a better bulb but i looked all over and this was one of the best and the most expensive but not on iherb.com $4-5 cheaper. honestly i compared my regular bulbs and the light in less giving and even seemed to make me upset... kind-of like when you know someone is looking at you but yu dont see it...lolol ..i was like turn that crap off its making me hot.... it was like my natural light was calmer and caused me less eye strain and stress ... thanks iherb.com

but In some lamps the end of the lamp is to short so it does not work. I tryed several and I find one who I could ues the lamp in. tre stars
