In addition to its well known health benefits I use this product mainly because it was doctor recommended for dry eyes and it seems to help. It has a mild, pleasant flavor and aroma and I use it daily as salad oil. The dark packaging protects it from light (and rancidity) and the bottle cap flips open and closed, provides a thin steady stream and prevents dripping. I highly recommend this product.

Oil tastes good and stays fresh longer than other brands I tried but the bottle is a drawback, it just spills everywhere.

I found out that flaxseed oil is probably not the best for the body because it is ALA instead of DHA and EPA which are already converted, some people cannot convert ALA into DHA and EPA, which makes this oil dangerous for people who cannot convert it. I now only take fish oil regardless of the taste, flaxseed oil is overhyped and doesn't work. If you still insist to take flaxseed oil, this product is not bad, it tastes better than some others, at least I didn't have to hold my nose everytime.

Omega-3 Oil is an ESSENTIAL OIL to have every day for proper functioning of the body. iHerb's Health from the Sun Flax Oil is an essential product. I just use it for the oil when I make vinegar and oil dressing from my salad.
