Iron Ease for bursitis pain.

Purchased at iHerb

I began taking Iron Ease because a friend told me iron may help the bursitis pain I experience in my hips. After about two weeks of use, I could tell a definite difference. My pain is now minimal if I feel any at all. Prior to adding iron, my hips hurt severely if I sat for two long or sat on a hard surface.

Very good

I bought this at the same I bought Jarrow's IronSorb (which I tried and was impressed with), so held off trying Iron Ease. I decided to give Iron Ease a try when I next felt I needed to supplement iron (I don't take it all the time). I believe I felt better taking this iron than the IronSorb (which is Iron Protein Succinylate - IPS). That seemed strange to me because the peer-reviewed studies online indicate this form of iron is not that well utilised (thus considered OK to fortify food without risk of causing iron overload). The studies on IPS are much more conclusive re its ability to replenish depleted iron stores. So I wondered if this one seemed to work better for me because my iron levels are not that low and this one acts as a good "top up". I will continue to trial both at different times.
