Smooth and Subtle

Maroma, Encens d’ Auroville, Sandalwood is unlike other Sandalwood incenses that I've smelled in that it's smooth and subtly scented. In most cases, Sandalwood incense is very rich, heavy and almost overpoweringly sweet — and those qualities necessarily bad, if an intense effect is what you're after — but sometimes a person prefers a simpler, less aggressive incense, and in those instances, Maroma, Encens d’ Auroville, Sandalwood is perfect. It is a bit pricey, but it's nicely packaged. I would like to know, however, that the Sandalwood used in this product is being harvested ethically.
