I am 53 and have been using this product for almost 2 years. My family has several members with macular degeneration, including my mother. During the last two yearly eyes exams, the ophtamologist was pleased to see no changes with my eyes' condition and performance. I do not imply that these additives are solely responsible but the minerals help along with good nutrition and staying healthy (physically, mentally, and spiritually)! I recommend it.
