Great product. Can be taken on empty stomach with no discomfort. Great for people with a sensitive stomach, such as myself! Noticed the benefits within a few days. Improved blood flow, lower blood pressure and an overall calming effect. Also Improves Intimate stimulus.

L-Arginine is an amino acid that is a precursor, or building block, for many other bodily chenicals and functions. The theory is that if one increases the building block material, more of the functional chemical will be produced. There are many potental uses for L-Arginine: L-arginine is the body's chief source for creating Nitric Oxide. Since Nitric Oxide is the chemical that allows the male to have an erection, L-Arginine supplementation is used to treat erectile dysfucntion. Some researchers claim that L-Arginine is as effective as Viagra in some individuals. Another sexual side effect is that L-Arginine may increase sperm count and increase sperm movement. Some studies suggest that L-Arginine may help to decrease blood pressure. In summary, L-arginine shows promise in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease, in the treatment of some forms of male infertility and some kidney disorders and it is helpful in accelerating wound healing in some circumstances. It has demonstrated some positive immune-modulating and anticancer effects. There is preliminary evidence that it could be helpful in some men with erectile dysfunction and in some others with migraine, liver disease and primary ciliary dyskinesia. Dosage: L-arginine is available in tablet, capsule, and powder form and as L-arginine hydrochloride and free base L-arginine. It is also available in medical foods as an aid in the enhancement of immune function. Various doses are used depending on what one is trying to treat. For cardiovascular health reasons, doses from 8 to 21 grams daily have been used in divided doses. To help aid with sperm quantity and quality, doses of 10 to 20 grams daily have been used in divided doses. Doses of 5-8 grams daily have been used for erectile dysfunction. Doses of 1.5 to 2.4 grams daily have been used for interstitial cystitis (kidney func). Since the doses are quite high, it is best to purchase a large bottle of L-Arginine, such as 1 gram per capsules.

Nitric Oxide (NO) is a chemical which helps prevent heart attack and stroke four (4) ways: 1. It lowers cholesterol by 10% to 20% 2. It reduces arterial plaque by as much as 50% 3. It expands blood vessels, reducing blood pressure and allowing blood to flow more freely. 4. It controls platelet function so they don't clump together and cause blood clots.

If you are a guy buying L-Arginine, you won't be disappointed with this product. A great supplement indeed. Just make sure you drink a lot of water with it. I like to take it before a meal. It is the biggest vitamin/supplement you are likely to take - it takes its own journey down the esophagus.

Has really lowered my blood pressure. As a side note, I started taking this for blood pressure, but noticed a slight... "viagra" effect, each time I take 2-3 of these (on an empty stomach). That was a suprise and an unintended thing, but hey... don't look a gift horse in the mouth!
