When dropped into hot water, it develops a dark reddish brown color. When dropped into hot water in which vitamin C powder was pre-added, it develops a light reddish brown color. Red rooibos tea is a healthy additive to green tea or white tea. Interestingly, 1 green rooibos tea bag can be used 3 times to make green rooibos tea. 1 red rooibos tea bag can be used 2 times to make red rooibos tea. 1 green tea bag can be used 2 times to make green tea. 1 white tea bag can be used 2 times to make white tea. 1 honeybush tea bag can be used only 1 time to make honeybush tea.

Rooibos tea is like mother's milk. In South Africa its used for all kinds. So effective and yet safe enough to treat a new born with colic and gas. Its a lot more than just an old wives tale. Gentle, yet therapeutic aid for overall feeling of calm & well being, insomnia, upset stomach, digestion, regularity and beautiful skin. Thank you!

This Rooibos product is a high quality and fair priced herb. I changed from Orange peco tea to an herb that tastes very close to it many years ago and have bought it from many sources. The quality is very good and the taste excellent.

I usually by rooibos locally, but decided on a whim to try some random tea here. Well this one isn't anything special, especially at that price.
