This is a truly great quality ghee product, very very hard to surpass this kind of quality. Basically no water in it, a great yellow golden color and the flavor is great, thanks to organic grass fed cows. Very happy that iherb is now carrying this product, wanted to try this brand of ghee for years, just ordered my 2nd bottle. Review update: I have reduced my rating for this product, since I found that it does not store well at room temperature after opening. I dont understand this, the cooking test revealed no water, the only explanation would be there is some slight mild solids residue from incomplete processing, so my my recommendation is to store it in the fridge after opening. Will contact the manufacturer for an explanation.

I first heard about Ghee when I read "The Four Hour Body", (by Tim Ferris). This book recommends removing sugar from your diet, including lactose (dairy). I have also read that you obtain more nutrients by consuming fats from grass fed cows. It is also important to consume fats that are organic, because you don't want any pesticides to be stored in your body. Ghee is very difficult to find in South Korea, (and if you do find it it is very expensive). I LOVE this product, and I will definitely order it again!!

It is very tasty and healthy oil in the tradition of Ayurveda. Use it for frying. Its takes less than sunflower oil. And the dishes are less greasy. Blue label is completely removed and remains a neat jar. I will buy all the time!
