I'm not sure why it is so difficult to find a decent trace mineral formula without iron - which is typically a counter-productive supplement for men and post-menopausal women. Thorne's Pic-Mins is the only decent product I have found that has a reasonable representation of the trace minerals in reasonable quantities. I hope this is something that will continue to be be available, especially if the competition remains so very poor.

I have been taking these on and off for several years due to malabsorption issues. They are an absorbable form and they really make a difference. When I stop taking them, the white spots begin to appear on my fingernails and I've also had delayed wound healing. These problems disappear wen I take them again. The only downside of these is that I would prefer not to ingest fillers and flow agents.

I was looking for a mineral supplement that doesn't contain vitamin d because I prefer to get my vitamin d from moderate sun exposure. This works and comes in vegetable capsules!
