There was a corporate buyout. The new parent company is trying to cut costs and maximize profits. This product has been changed. The new formula doesn't work - don't waste your money.
I wondered, why would a company that was dedicated to producing the purest and most potent cordyceps sinensis on the market, change their product? Well, because it is not the some company anymore. They were purchased by American Botanicals LLC in Feb. 2017.
This new formula is not potent or effective. The old formula was pure cordyceps sinensis. The new formula is a blend of c. sinensis and c. militaris. The actual amounts of each are not even listed since the manufacturer chooses to hide it as a "proprietary formula". I suspect it is mostly militaris now, which is why they are hiding the amounts. It's also more expensive now. So you are paying more for an inferior product. The new parent company obviously only cares about maximizing the profits of their investment, even if they do it by making inferior products.

The original Aloha Medicinals is gone. (RIP) It's time to find another source of Cordyceps Sinensis!
