A succulent rooibos blend with sweet blueberries and revitalizing schizandra berries.
Rooibos is a shrub grown in South Africa that makes a delicious, naturally sweet caffeine-free herbal tea with an ambrosial, nectar-like flavor.
Origin: Western Cape, South Africa
Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis), meaning "Red Bush" in the Afrikaans language, is indigenous to South Africa's Western Cape where it was originally consumed by the Khoisan nomadic ethnic groups. Today, rooibos is cultivated near the Cederberg Mountain area within the wider Cape Floristic Region, a biodiversity hotspot home to a natural shrubland, or "fynbos," ecosystem.
This fruity succulent blend makes a bright crimson infusion highlighting the tart flavor of hibiscus flowers in harmony with the floral aroma and sweet-sour hints of wild schizandra berry.
- 1 tbsp tea / 8 oz H2O
- Infuses 5-7 minutes
Organic and fair trade certified rooibos, organic blueberries, organic schizandra berries, organic and fair trade certified hibiscus flowers, natural blueberry and strawberry flavors.
iHerb Customer Reviews
My husband loves this tea! You can smell the blueberries through the can. It is warm, aromatic, and delicious. With the warm weather, it is wonderful on ice When the weather is cool/cold, it's also great hot!!. It tastes too good to be good for you! Will order again.
This tea has an incredibly lush quality to it, the flavor is full-bodied and well rounded. It is a wonderful evening tea since it has no caffeine. I have found that Rishi does a poor job with steeping instructions on their packages; this one advises a tablespoon per 8oz serving but I have found that a teaspoon seems to do just as well, so do some experimenting to see what suits you best. If you're a newbie or just looking for a gift for a tea-loving friend this would be an excellent choice!
