A punchy hibiscus blend with zesty, revitalizing ginger and succulent citrus.
Infusing ancient herbal traditions with epicurean creativity, our Herbal Teas express our mastery in sourcing exotic herbs, spices and fruits from all over the world. These natural ingredients are hand-blended in micro-batches to harmonize and develop a refined complexity.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
We taste dozens of gingers during the peak harvest seasons of Africa, Asia and Oceania to select only the most aromatic, citrusy and pungent varieties.
Tangerine Ginger combines roots, fruits and herbs to create an uplifting, bold-flavored vitality tonic. Ginger and licorice invigorate, while rosehips and tangerine refresh with their bright succulence. Wild-harvested schizandra berry bestows an exotic layer of aromatic complexity. This rejuvenating, adaptogenic berry is harvested at its peak ripeness to lend tart cranberry and citrus accents to this vibrant juicy blend.
- 1 tbsp / 8 oz H2O
- Infuse 5 minutes
Organic ginger root, organic and fair trade certified hibiscus flowers, organic schizandra berries, organic licorice root, organic rosehips, organic orange peel, essential orange and tangerine oils.
iHerb Customer Reviews
This tea is punchy, and tasty. You just need to let it steep long enough. Ginger will kick in first, and then the tangy hibiscus. Out of all the Rishi Teas this is my favorite. Rishi Tea is packed in a tin can with inner cap that helps to preserve tea better.
This was my first Rishi tea, and I had some high hopes for it before I purchased it. I imagined something like Bigelow's Spiced Orange, with more flavor but it was a completely different interpretation of "Spicy Citrus". I do believe they have used quality ingredients. However the taste just really rubbed me the wrong way and I found it really intolerable. It was kind of sour as I drank it, no it wasn't just the right amount of tang, but it was right off sour, and then it left a really weird aftertaste that made me wanna throw up. I think it was the ginger and licorice. Licorice and me not very good friends. I think I'll go back to Bigelow and stick with the Spiced Orange.
