Product Overview

Description
  • All natural ingredients
  • Kosher Parve
  • 20 Individually Wrapped Tea Bags

Naturally sweet, dessert-like tea flavored with pure spices and licorice. Unique taste with the distinct yet subtle flavor of black licorice. Naturally caffeine free. Our Licorice Spice infusion combines the finest licorice root from Europe, cinnamon from Sri Lanka, star anise from China, orange peel from the U. S. and sarsaparilla from South America.

We actively maintain signed statements from our ingredient suppliers stating that all ingredients purchased by Stash Tea Company are gluten-free. We do not use barley malt in any of our blends.

Since 1972, Stash has been dedicated to providing premium quality teas. Our passion for quality teas is unmatched. We source from premier tea gardens, sampling hundreds of teas but selecting only a handful for our customers. We search for unique, often rare - and above all, exceptional - teas to share with you. For our herbal and flavored blends, we buy whole herbs and spices from the world's best sources and, for superior flavor, mill them right before blending.

Suggested Use

Brewing

To savor the full flavor of our teas, bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour hot water directly over the tea bag in a pre-heated pot or cup. Brew 3-5 minutes or to desired taste. One tea bag makes 8 ounces of hot tea. For iced tea, brew double strength.

Other Ingredients

Licorice root*, cinnamon, orange peel, chinese star anise, vanilla flavor, sarsaparilla, orange oil, cinnamon oil, clove bud oil and cardamom oil.

*This ingredient is not intended for use during pregnancy and while nursing, or if you have heart disease or high blood pressure.

Naturally sweet!

Posted by TrueReviews on Nov 15, 2013

I got this tea as a part of my PCOS treatment protocol. I use it in the first half of the menstrual cycle. Licorice protects the liver from harmful substances. This tea tastes very good and is naturally sweet. Click on my username for more reviews! If you thought that this review was helpful please feel free to press the 'yes' button.

Licorice Tea

Posted by Reviewer1767928 on Jul 04, 2011

On the advise of My N.D. I am required to drink a min of 3 cups of licorice tea daily (gastrointestinal problems). I am not wanting to drink anything hot in warm weather but have found that room temp or chilled licorice tea without any other additives is very pleasant. IHerbs price is the best that I have found but it would be even better if the shipping expenses were reduced.

Stash vs Yogi vs Frontier

Posted by 5052366787132261209 on Feb 02, 2013

Have tried all of these and Yogi and Frontier win. While flavor is a personal thing, I prefer Yogi and Frontier to Stash and my gf didn't like Stash. One of the biggest differences is that Yogi and Frontier go much further than Stash (you get more cups of flavor with 1 bag or an equivalent amount of loose tea (Frontier) than Stash). So while Yogi is a bit more expensive, it goes further. Frontier is the cheapest and may have the most pure licorice flavor (fewer added spices).
