Uncle Lee's Tea, 100% Certified Organic, White Tea, 18 Tea Bags, 1.02 oz (29 g)21 Reviews
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.
The Shipping Weight includes the product, protective packaging material and the actual shipping box. In addition, the Shipping Weight may be adjusted for the Dimensional Weight (e.g. length, width & height) of a package. It is important to note that certain types of products (e.g. glass containers, liquids, fragile, refrigerated or ice packed) will often require protective packaging material. As such, these products will reflect a higher Shipping Weight compared to the unprotected product.

When it comes to tea no one knows better than Uncle Lee's. We've been creating fine teas for over 50 years, combining traditional methods from ancient China with the western technology of today.
Our organically grown Bai Mu Dan White Tea (also known as "White Peony") is grown in the mountains of the Fujian Province in China and is from the tender young buds and leaves that remain after the legendary Silver Needle has been harvested. White tea (camellia sinensis) undergoes very little processing and the absence of this (steaming, rolling and oxidation) leaves the appearance and cell structure of the leaves basically unaltered. This purity may be what some researchers have said might cause white tea to have a greater concentration of antioxidants than all other teas. White teas have all of the benefits of green tea and are the most delicate of all, their taste being subtle, complex and mildly sweet.
To brew a perfect cup of white tea, place one tea bag into your favorite cup. Pour one cup of hot water, heated to just before boiling (180°F), over the bag. Steep 3 to 4 minutes and enjoy the delicate flavor and sweet, light aroma.
Because there is very little processing with white tea, the caffeine content is low at approximately 15 to 20 mg per cup. Green tea contains 20 to 30 mg. per cup, and coffee contains 100 to 200 mg. per cup.
Organically grown tender young white tea leaves (Bai Mu Dan).
iHerb Customer Reviews
It's a good tea, tastes milder than green tea. I prefer green tea as I've experienced weight loss boost with green back when I was taking it. I think this one is just for antioxidants so I went back to drinking the green but will give this tea another try soon.
The flavor isn't as light as other white teas, but overall it's a pleasant product. Don't expect a miracle here, just expect decent tea.
