I am REALLY picky when it comes to snickerdoodles, and I wasn't expecting much from these super healthy ones, but they are AMAZING! So soft and chewy and super-cinnamony - the closest to perfect I've ever tasted from packaged snickerdoodles.
great taste and price
This rooibos is really good for the price, and considering it's organic. It's pretty sweet and creamy - not the best, but I've tasted a whole lot worse!
first time yeast flakes
These are the first nutritional yeast flakes I've ever bought, after having read so much about their health benefits. I was expecting something resembling smelly fish food flakes, but it's more like a dusty powder, with no unpleasant odor. I blended these with ground almonds to make vegan parmesan, and the result was awesome - surprisingly creamy and cheesy, without the fat and grease!
I love this cereal, for its protein and low fat content. By itself it's pretty dry and tasteless, but throw in some fruit and it's delicious. I usually eat it with half a mashed banana for a super satisfying breakfast that keeps me full for ages.
I've been making soy smoothies with a heaped spoonful of this green tea powder and some protein powder, to energize me after taekwondo, and it's awesome. I love the taste, and it really does make me feel alert and revitalized. I wish I had a coffee machine so I could make matcha lattes, too!
I always keep these noodles stocked in my cupboard - they only take a minute or two to cook, and are so much healthier than ramen or egg noodles. The only downside to them is that they will stick together easily, so I sprinkle them with oil immediately after draining them.
not very lemony or gingery
I like the benefits of this tea, but the taste is a big dissapointment - not very lemony and I can't taste the ginger at all. Don't get this if you like your lemon ginger teas to have a kick!
I love tangy lime tortilla chips, but these ones are just way too hot for me. Don't get them unless you can handle the heat!
I LOVE curry powder, on just about anything. This one is really nice, so warm and cinnamony, you can really taste the cloves, too.
love these lentils!
These are SO easy to cook and throw into curries for extra protein and fiber. I cook them in my rice cooker for about 30 mins and keep them stored in the fridge. You don't need to soak or wash them, just cook 'em!
