A little disappointed, since I expected something tasting a little more lika soy sauce (which I miss a lot, breastfeeding child with soy allergy). This was sweeter and had a scent of coconut. But it's good and better than no soy at all:-).

A great nutritious product with good taste and smell. Good for mixing into food and smoothies. The only "con" is the package - it is quite difficult to open the bag without getting green hands...

For being a rice protein, this is the best! I would have given it 6 stars if I could:-). The consistency is very smooth, the smell neutral without the "sourness" that is common among rice proteins of other brands I have used previously (I have tried Sunwarrior and NutriBiotics). It's good for baking, making protein bars, and even my 1-year-old son, who is not very keen of breakfast loves this mixed with his oat-derived yoghurt (Oatly, Swedish brand, we live in Sweden), millet flakes, chia seeds and banana in the mornings! Must buy another jar immediately, or maybe two, or three...
Tried this once, but think it is too sweet. I prefer to use the original taste of the same brand, and sweeten it using stevia drops "according to my taste" instead. The smoothness of the Growing Naturals rice proteins is just tremendous, so if you are looking for a rice protein with vanilla taste - I highly recommend this one!
The taste of this is really awful according to me, but my children don't disagree when they get their daily supplement in form of these drops mixed into their cereals or oatmeal... Very happy that it is vegan:-).
Disapponting... Sweet, crunchy, but not so much taste of chocolate as I have prefered. There are plenty of better tasting dairy free chocolate products available where I live (Sweden). However, this is soy-free, which is positive!
Chewy, fairy thin bars, sweet, but not too sweet, a little bit of salt... Have bought it several times - like it as a snack when I want something small.
First time I tried xanthan gum at all, so I have very little experience. But for making fat-free healty ice-cream, it is good:-).
Cannot be wrong with nutritional yeast:-)

I haven't tried any maca powder before, so I have nothing to compare with. However, this product is smooth, mixes well with other "powders", and for the items I have used it for (smoothies and fruit-based ice cream), it is good. Especially, I like to add it when using raw cacao powder for a "deeper" taste of chocolate.
