Been using this for about a year now. I'm 76 and under threat of glaucoma, so eye pressure is important to me. Last two exams showed the pressure down slightly although I have not been taking the full recommended amount. I've also had some weird episodic flash patterns/shapes--cause unknown--but this product has pretty much eliminated that. Consequently, for above reasons, will continue to take, and therefore recommend, if you have problems similar to mine.
Am age 76 with BHP, a form of inflammation of the prostate. This included some urinary retention at night but after taking this product regularly for a year (i.e. three caps per day) things seem to be more under control, i.e. have calmed down, so recommend. Bottle says beta sitosterol (sp?) is included but not exactly how much. (Attention: NOW foods: please correct this by stating on the label the exact amount of beta sitosterol in the product.)
I prefer this over Enzymedica's "Natto-K" product because the straight NSK-SD doesn't have anything else in it, and dosage is moderate. Supposed to help with lowering fibrinogen levels. (Try earthing/grounding for this too.) Recommend.
Wife, who has a tendency to modestly elevated sugar levels, keeps them under control with this product. She is a registered nurse, therefore skeptical of supplementation (!) so the fact that she likes and uses these Solgar Glucose Modulators may be of significance. Worth trying to see if they work for you. We also think Solgar has a good rep.
I use this in morning tea; it immediately dissolves and is tasteless and undetectable. It seems to help with mild constipation by adding (soluble) fiber to one's daily consumption via food. (Probiotics--try Kyolic's 9 strain--helps here too.)
Been taking this for years in moderate doses--usually one cap per day--and like it. I feel good generally (and PMR symptoms are somewhat improved) so figure maybe it is helping with my systemic inflammation. (Got to keep getting that CRP level down!) I'm 76 with PMR.
Not yet used.
We've used (powdered) Stevia Sweetleaf for years and like it but of course it doesn't dissolve well in non hot beverages. This liquid version seems to be the answer although a different dispenser bottle arrangement might prove better than the dropper.
Too new to rate but seems to have the right ingredients to help control free radical damage. (Suggest trying earthing/grounding for this as well: see www.earthing.com)
Good product but we didn't notice much difference from the standard Folger granules
