I was pleased until I realised that the expiry date was 7-8 months from when I received it. Seems still alright until I realised that it was made 2/12 years ago. With antioxidants and all, surely this can't still be as potent after so long?
Firstly, be warned that this smells and tastes absolutely vile. When you prepare it you will find that it smells of ponds and old swimming pools because...it's algae! you'll have to get used to it over time. Nevertheless, i think it is effective as i have been taking it with other green powders and my cravings have diminished. also, this alone it helps me go, which I take as proof of its detoxifying powers. ps. i think with all chlorella you can't really go wrong with yaeyama as it has to be grown under certain conditions and on a faraway island of Japan
I've been using this for years and can't fault it in anyway. It tastes unoffensive and it keeps for a long time. Just remember to drink lots of water or it could aggravate constipation.
strong, woody but clean scent. I don't particularly like it but it's great for keeping bugs away, and apparently helps with sebum control
Came to me safely packaged in an egg carton. glass jar which i love because of dislike of BPAs and plastics and what not. if you live in a warm climate you probably should get this as you have no idea how hot it might get sitting in a warehouse waiting for transport... honestly people, coconut oil has a melting temperature of about 24 to 25 degrees, so if you live in a place colder than that NATURALLY it would come to you hard and solid; it is not any fault with the product. in fact, if it does not, then you should have every reason to suspect it. do your research.
no artificial things, no chemicals. cheaper than most drugstore brands. vanilla smells ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! the only thing missing is SPF.
if it's hot and sunny where you live, stick this product in the fridge when it comes. if not... you've got a oily, fishy smelling flan-like mini pudding that kids gag on and sprint to the bathroom to wash the taste out. not gummy at all
I am chucking this before even using because it smelt like fish already when it arrived. I would have been more upset if I hadn't gotten it on a special. I did contact iherb to ask about it but have not received any response, so, i'm not taking any chances with my skin
Whilst the oil was a light golden and not dark amber like in blogger reviews, the oil smelled fresh - herbaceous - with only a mild smell of fishiness. Kudos to iherb for getting this from the US to Asia in a few weeks, I'm sure that helped. Store it in a fridge! The oil absorbs fast if you apply it before any occlusive products. It SEEMS to be giving my skin some radiance but it is too early to tell and also too early to know if it clogs pores. But it's extremely good value for money! Acure's Customer Service is also very responsive - I emailed them regarding the colour and they responded within a day
no artificial things, no chemicals. cheaper than most drugstore brands. the only thing missing is SPF. mint flavor is very refreshing
