These are pretty good tasting and I like that its not actually gummy as much as pectin. When I was recovering from a surgery my doctor recommended i take this since I couldn't keep regular vitamins down- even other chewables made me sick! These however stayed down and tasted good. In fact, even my husband tried them, and he NEVER takes vitamins. Now he wants his own! Highly recommended. Just wish it also had calcium or iron. And had less sugar. It\s sweet enough that they could definitely reduce the sugar and the vitamin would still be tasty. To get your iron and calcium, you have to get two more vitamins- presumably gummies- two different kinds because you can't take calcium and iron together. Each gummy has sugar. It's kind of like candy with vitamins, so it adds up. However it is still a fantastic vitamin option. and if you were like me during pregnancy and couldn't keep vitamins down, this would be a good option for you!
I drink a lot of protein powder, and i've tried several kinds. Isopure is among the best... smaller scoops, dissolves well, no bad aftertaste. There's a bit of very miniscule grit in the drink but it's not bad. Like the texture of sugar. But definitely no sugar in Isopure! This is a GREAT protein for blending with stuff- I've mixed this up with spices and rum extract for an eggnog flavored drink. I mix with cinnamon and sugar free peanut butter (such as PB2, which blends well) for a delicious treat. I've mixed this protein with iced coffee- particularly good with a strong hazelnut coffee. The stronger the coffee flavor the better, because the protein is flavored pretty strongly! (can't wait to try the coffee Isopure). I've also mixed this protein with fresh berries like strawberries or rasberries, and even frozen that as popsicles. YUM. I alternate with this and chocolate isopure.
this is a pretty good protein and good on its own or- my favorite- mixed with things for variety! I like to mix with ice coffee for a mocha. Or mix with sugar free peanut butter for a guilt free delicious treat. If i want it less sweet, I'll put in 3/4 chocolate, and then 1/4 plain isopure. Some users have noted it doesn't seem to dissolve entirely and has a bit of grit. The grit is very fine, finer than sugar granules and not bad. You do need to stir or shake frequently as the drink settles- but honestly I've had that with every protein brand I've ever tried. I don't think its a deterrent and for the value, my isopure has lasted longer than most other proteins i've tried. I definitely need to try more flavors.
I'm new to the sugar-free life style and it's been rough... and without this stevia it would have been nearly impossible! Thanks to this I still get to have my tasty vanilla lattes without guilt. It's out of stock now but soon as its in stock again, I will buy an extra bottle to keep in my purse- so I can add to my sugar free coffee on the go! It's better than than the other non-sugar sweeteners i've tried and the best brand i've had so far. Will keep buying this brand. :)
The only one that doesn't give me headaches or bad aftertaste! i always keep it with me!
giving up my macchiato every morning was really hard when i started reducing sugar. This has been my go-to for those morning moments of coffee bliss! I always buy at least 2 at a time- the family loves it too.
I will definitely get this again and again! Helps me get all my vitamins and protein and caffeine in one wonderful milk shake! For variation, mix with a bit of Isopure's other flavors like Vanilla or chocolate for a vanilla latte or a mocha shake. :)
My son who hates his vegetables and vitamins WILL eat these. I think they taste much better than his old brand of chewables, and i like all the vegetables and fruits in these! I suggest keeping them in the fridge, mine colored strangely in the hot summer heat.
Tastes more like a caramel milk tea, even black. Very strong caramel flavor and natural sweet... no sugar needed. The first time I added a sweetener by habit, and it was gross. Next time I tried it without and better. I don't advise brewing it as long as suggested, it has a pretty strong flavor. Next time I'll try their 'plain black roast" and no flavors.
The smell made me feel a bit ill. I couldn't stomach it at all. It smelled very medicinal and sharp, a bit like licorice. Not at all chocolately, though I did smell dates. Didn't smell at all coffee or even a palatable tea, nor did it taste good. I had slightly better luck with the Dandelion Caramel nut, which while over-flavored could be used.
